Accepting Bids

This feature is available for version 1.1.0 or higher.

You can accept bids from providers manually or automatically.

To accept a bid, follow these steps:

  • Go to the "Bids" section
  • Select the "Pending" tab (it should be set by default)
  • Look for the Bid you want to accept on and tap on the "Accept Bid" button. Please be aware that if you have enabled automatic bidding, the system will automatically accept the bids that meet your requirements.
  • You will be asked to confirm the acceptance of the bid and you can also leave a comment for the provider.
  • Tap on "Accept Bid"
  • A pre-authorization will be made on your payment method for the amount of the bid. The payment will be captured only when the parcel is marked as delivered.

Pre-authorization is a temporary hold on the funds of the customer's payment method. It is used to ensure that the customer has enough funds to pay for the service. The pre-authorization will expire after 7 days if the parcel is not marked as delivered.

Accept bids wisely. Once a bid is accepted, the provider will be required to confirm the service. You will not be able to cancel the bid after it has been confirmed by the provider.

After accepting the bid, the provider will be notified and required to confirm the bid if they are available to provide the service. You will be notified if the provider confirms the bid and the service is scheduled.
