Placing Bids
The way to offer your services through Mailjour is through Bidding. You will be able to place a bid on those service requests that have been matched with your active Journeys.
You will only be able to bid on those service requests that have been matched. You will receive a notification every Match we find.
To place a bid, follow these steps:
- Go to the "Matches" section
- Select the Unbid tab (it should be set by default)
- Look for Match you want to bid on and tap on the "Place Bid" button
- Fill in the required information
- Price: The price you are willing to charge for the service (taxes and fees inclusive).
- Estimated Time of Arrival: The estimated time of arrival at the pickup location.
- Estimated Time of Delivery: The estimated time of delivery at the dropoff location.
- Comments: Any additional information you want to provide to the requester.
- Tap on "Place Bid"
Carefully review the customer's requirements before placing a bid. You can view the details of the service request by clicking on the "More details" button.
Set your price wisely. All prices must be tax inclusive, and you must take our fees into account when calculating your service rate (fees are not included automatically, they are deduced from your price). If your bid is accepted, you will be required to provide the service for the price you have set. You will not be able to change the price after the bid has been accepted.
After placing a bid, the requester will be notified and will be able to accept or reject it. You will be notified of the decision.
