Do I have to be registered as self-employed?
Unlike a conventional delivery platform, Mailjour does not require you to be registered as self-employed to use the platform, as we do not act as an intermediary in the provision of your services, and we do not decide the price of your services, nor do we organise your routes or services, nor do we oblige any provider to meet service quotas.
However, you must comply with the tax and labour regulations of your country.
SPANISH PROVIDERS: According to the country's legislation, you must be registered as a self-employed person with the social security and tax authorities or be a registered society in order to be able to issue invoices and carry out your professional activity.
In Spain, for example, you must be registered as an Autónomo with the social security and tax office in order to be able to issue invoices and carry out a commercial activity legally.
Bear in mind that your commercial and professional relationship with the client is direct and we do not interfere in any way in the process, so all the invoices you issue will be issued directly to your clients, using your tax information.
Mailjour does not charge any fees to your customers, nor is it responsible for processing payments, which are processed through the Stripe gateway that is set up on your behalf.
VERY IMPORTANT! – In accordance with our terms and conditions of service, You are responsible for completing the necessary formalities in your country of residence in order to legally conduct your business.
